“I based my assignment on wild kai, two flowers that can be found everywhere near where I reside. Something insignificant, two flowers often disregarded as weeds and pests.

These two poems show their hidden beauty and the value they add to our plates.

Making use of the wild kai around us no matter how small and that even two inconspicuous weeds can provide medicine and food.”
